It's no secret I've never been the biggest Taylor Swift fan. As G.B. would say, I'm sure she's crying in her private jet. But, I'm woman enough to admit that despite my general distaste for the country crooner, she looked stunning at last night's Grammy Awards. Best dressed for sure. My runners-up were Chrissy Teigen, who looked absolutely flawless, and Katy Perry. Katy Perry's fresh off the runway Valentino may not be everyone's favorite, but I think it hit just the right note for the occasion (see what I did there?).

Katy Perry in Valentino. The dress just walked down the runway last week in Valentino's spring/summer 2014 Haute Couture collection. Check it out here!
The liars are back- hooray! It's been a long couple of "A" free months. BTW- how creepy is Ezra now? This week's episode had most wondering ab what's up w/ Caleb (is anyone watching Ravenswood??), but I was wondering about Spencer's trench cape. Stuck in the middle of winter, I'm daydreaming about spring fashion already, and that jacket made me feel like walking in a field full of daisies...or something.

Happy awards season! Time to do my favorite thing: silently judge, then offer my opinion when nobody asked for it! And last night's red carpet did not disappoint! The sewage spill should have been a sign to us all of what was to come! I havn't seen so many bad dresses since my junior prom! There were a few shining stars in the bunch, but overall it was hard to even pick the worst dressed because there were so many! Some of my faves are below, but keep scrolling for the far more entertaining worsts from the red carpet!
Best- Kate Beckinsale in Zuhair Murad
Best- Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Roberto Cavalli
Best- Leslie Mann in Dolce & Gabbana
Best- Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein
Best- Cate Blanchett in Armani

Worst- Julia Roberts in Dolce & Gabbana
Worst- Heidi Klum in Marchesa
Worst- Lena Dunham in Zac Posen
Worst- Zoe Saldana in Prabal Gurung

Worst- Ariel, I mean, Jennifer Lawrence in Dior. Image via MTV. Actually, I didn't think it was that bad until I started seeing the comparisons- check more out here.
I found myself waking up today with the winter blues. Have you felt it? No more holiday glitz, 0 degree temps, and everywhere you turn someone is coughing into their elbow (guilty!). Gross. Not to mention a post-holiday empty bank account- it's enough to make a girl hibernate until spring! But, what fun would that be? It's time to brave the most depressing time of the year and get back on track! When headed out into the elements the best way to arm yourself is with layers. I've noticed the chicest of all layers is the fur vest. Whether faux or fancy, it's nearly impossible to go wrong when topping off your look with a luxe little layer. As demonstrated in my last post by my friend Lilly, or in the pic below with my favorite vest, not only do you add on the warmth, but also depth and, if I do say so myself, sophistication. Now that's a winter pick-me-up.
My favorite vest!
Not many people are lucky enough to have a couple of friends who would agree to go to Paris on a whim. Fortunately, I am. After a couple bottles of wine one afternoon, a trio of friends decided there was no city in the world they'd rather kill a few days in than Paris, and so it was. After a magical and unforgettable, if not whirlwind, trip- here is a brief glimpse of what it takes to pack for a Parisian vacation in winter. Spoiler alert! It involves a lot of head-wear.
